The screenplay was excellent; the flashbacks, the dialogues, and the reveals were intriguing. Can I say I love the Holy Trinity??!

Enola Holmes 2 is a beautiful storyline that sucked me in and reluctantly released me after the end credits.

“Fresh off the triumph of solving her first case, Enola Holmes follows in the footsteps of her famous brother, Sherlock, and opens her own agency — only to find that life as a female detective-for-hire isn’t as easy as it seems”.
“Resigned to accepting the cold realities of adulthood, she is about to close shop when a penniless matchstick girl offers Enola her first official job: to find her missing sister.”
“But this case proves to be far more puzzling than expected, as Enola is thrown into a dangerous new world — from London’s sinister factories and colorful music halls to the highest echelons of society and 221B Baker Street itself. As the sparks of a deadly conspiracy ignite, Enola must call upon the help of friends — and Sherlock himself — to unravel her mystery.”
“The game, it seems, has found its feet again!”
I wasn’t sure what to expect; after the raging success of part 1, I was afraid of how two would turn out. Would it be excellent? Would it lack? Would it stay true? Would I love it?
I can assure you it didn’t lack. Oh no, it supplied and took us on a journey I would willingly go on again and again. My greatest shock was Moriarty. Beautiful, I tell you, beautiful!

The screenplay was excellent; the flashbacks, the dialogues, and the reveals were intriguing. Can I say I love the Holy Trinity 😂? For the first time in a long while, I laughed heartily and cheered them on while learning a thing or two.
The one thing, though, is the potential murmurs of discontent from the canon Sherlock Holmes fans, of which I am one of them. I hope they wouldn’t raise a ruckus. Henry makes a lovely Sherlock; I won’t lie. He did his best, and I gave it to him, but it isn’t canon Sherlock. I have come to see Enola’s Sherlock as an alternative timeline. Only then can I accept Henry’s Sherlock, and I have come to enjoy it that way.

Another addition that got me singing and proved my alternative timeline Sherlock was the introduction of our beloved friend and famed story writer. That’s not how it started, but I am glad he is here now.
Would I recommend Enola Holmes 2? Definitely! Just don’t go in looking for canon Sherlock or even Cumberchuck’s Sherlock, and you will enjoy every bit of it.
I came for Enola Holmes, and she delivered beautifully well.
P.S: Are you a Sherlock Holmes fan? Kindly check out this piece where I compared the books to the Enola Holmes movies.
